# Sandboxes

> Spin up a throwaway WordPress site from the Workspace to test, prototype, or demo on, with no hosting to set up.

A sandbox is a disposable WordPress site WPOS provisions for you, ready in
moments, with the plugin already installed and connected. Use one to try a
build, prototype a layout, or demo the agent without touching a client site or
standing up hosting first.

Create one from the [Workspace](/agencies/workspace): open the dashboard and
click **New sandbox**.

## Two kinds

    Temporary. The site auto-deletes after two hours. Best for a quick test or
    a one-off demo.

    Stays until you delete it yourself. Best for an ongoing scratch site or a
    prototype you return to.

## Working with a sandbox

Once it is ready, the sandbox appears in your connected sites list with a live
address and its admin login. Open it to work in its Command Center exactly like
any connected site: the agent builds, the preview updates, credits meter the
same way.

A sandbox does not consume one of your plan's site licenses, so you can keep a
real client site's license free while you experiment.

Delete a sandbox any time from its menu in the site list. A 2-hour sandbox
cleans itself up when the timer runs out.

  Reach for a sandbox when a prospect wants to see WPOS work but you do not
  want to touch their live site yet. Build the idea on a throwaway, screen
  record it, and share the result.
