Builders Table is a 24-hour build sprint in Cape Town: 100 builders, 20 teams, one prototype each, mentors on the floor all night. The BT—26 edition runs the event as a numbered sprint run sheet: PT.01 through PT.07 with an index rail, ink black and acid green, the schedule as a clock strip, and the apply form as the final part. One prompt. 8 sections. 24 minutes of agent time. Every save in the film hot-reloads the real WordPress page and re-runs the verification gates at 1200, 1920, and 390 px. The AGENT TIME chip shows true elapsed time through the timelapse. This was the first film in the series, on the original rig — no editor segment yet, but it has something the others don’t: after shipping, a second prompt makes a live tweak on camera.

How it was built

  • The agent followed a written design brief with the section order, the design direction above, and the site’s real copy and assets staged locally.
  • exjsx dev --gates ran the loop: save → compile → deploy → hot reload → gates, a few seconds per save.
  • Sections are plain JSX components; fonts ship via one @font-face carrier (Media and fonts).
  • The finished page is native Elementor V4.
