Intercom is a customer messaging and support platform. Connected to WPOS, it lets the agent create and manage contacts, and handle support tickets from the work you do on a site, all from the chat beside your site’s live preview.

OAuth to a live Intercom messenger

Category: CRM and sales Actions available: 129+

What you can do

  • Create, archive, and block contacts
  • Create and delete tickets
  • Keep support data in step with site activity

Example requests

Once Intercom is connected, ask in the Command Center:

Before you connect

  • An Intercom workspace. Intercom has no free tier, so an active subscription or trial is required.
  • Permission to install apps. Workspace admins can, teammates with restricted roles usually cannot.
  • Know your data host region. It is set per workspace and must match at authorization time.

Authorize Composio in Intercom

Check the data host region at the bottom of this screen: United States, Europe, or Australia. It must match the region your Intercom workspace lives in, or the connection authorizes against the wrong region and returns no data.

Troubleshooting

The data host region selected at authorization does not match your workspace region. Disconnect, reconnect, and set the correct region.
Your teammate role does not allow installing apps. Ask a workspace admin.
The Articles product is not enabled on your plan. Check your subscription in Intercom.
Intercom archives older conversations and the API paginates. Narrow the date range rather than asking for everything.
