Stripe is a payments platform. Connected to WPOS, it lets the agent create payment links and products, issue refunds, and manage quotes and subscriptions, all from the chat beside your site’s live preview. Category: Payments Actions available: 393+

What you can do

  • Create refunds
  • Accept and cancel quotes
  • Manage products, prices, and subscriptions
  • Handle invoices and payments

Example requests

Once Stripe is connected, ask in the Command Center:

Before you connect

  • A Stripe account. Create it before you start rather than during the flow, so you know which account you are connecting.
  • The email address on that Stripe account. Stripe’s own hint on the form: “Have a Stripe account? You can use the same email address.”
  • Stripe requires the form to be completed by the business owner, or by someone with significant management responsibility for that business. If that is not you, hand this step to whoever it is.

Connect it

1

Open WPOS

In WordPress admin, open WPOS. You land on the chat screen.
2

Open a new tab and choose Connectors

Click the + button to open the launcher panel, then choose Connectors.
3

Search for Stripe

Type Stripe into Search for integrations. The row reads “Stripe offers online payment infrastructure, fraud prevention, and …”, with a Connect button on the right.
4

Press Connect

Press Connect. The button changes to Connecting… and a popup opens on Stripe’s own domain, connect.stripe.com. Leave the WPOS tab alone while the popup is open, because the row stays on Connecting… until the popup finishes.
5

Enter the email for your Stripe account

The popup is headed “Composio partners with Stripe for secure payments” on the left, and Get started with Stripe on the right. Enter your Email address, then press Continue.
This page is served by Stripe, not by WPOS. The “Powered by Stripe” mark, the Terms and Privacy links, and the connect.stripe.com address are all Stripe’s. If you want to back out, use Return to Composio rather than closing the window.
Stripe states that if you are completing this form on behalf of a business, it must be completed by the business owner or someone with significant management responsibility for that business. Agencies often hold several Stripe accounts, so check the email address before you continue. This connection can move real money.
6

Finish on Stripe, then return to WPOS

Complete the remaining Stripe prompts and approve the connection. When the popup closes, the Stripe row in Connectors stops reading Connecting… and shows the connection.

Troubleshooting

The popup is still open, or it was blocked before it opened. Finish it or close it, then press Connect again.
The costly mistake here, because Stripe actions touch live payments. Disconnect, reconnect, and check the email address on the Stripe screen before you press Continue.
Stripe requires an owner, or someone with significant management responsibility, to complete the form. Pass this step to that person rather than working around it.
