Share your link
Your link sits at the top of the page with a QR code beside it. Copy it, show the QR at a meetup, or share straight to X, LinkedIn, or email. When someone opens it, the sign-up page names who invited them and fills in the referral code, so there is nothing for them to type. What you earn, and when
1
They sign up and start
The referral is counted as soon as they create an account. 1,000 credits
are released once they send their first message in chat.
2
They go paid
4,000 more credits are released when their first invoice clears on
Standard or above. A free account, a trial, or a cheaper paid plan does
not release it, and a plan below the floor waits at Converted to paid
until they upgrade.
The reward goes to the person who shared the link. The invitee gets the normal
WPOS trial, not a referral bonus.
Follow your invitees
The page tracks the whole journey, so you know who is worth a nudge:- Invites sent, Signed up, Building now, On trial, Converted to paid, and Credits earned, which is what has been released to your balance so far.
- An invitee list showing when each person joined, their status, and your reward. Each row carries a stage: Signed up (created an account with your link), Signed up and ran a first task, in the trial, First invoice cleared, and finally Rewarded.
The rules
- A code only attaches to a brand new account. It is captured at sign-up and applies within the first 24 hours, so an existing customer cannot add a code afterwards.
- You cannot refer yourself, or a second account on your own company’s email domain. Ordinary mailbox providers such as gmail.com do not count as the same company.
- One referrer per account. Whoever’s link they signed up with keeps the referral.
- Refunds claw it back. A refund or chargeback within 30 days of the invoice reverses the reward.
- No cap. Every paid referral pays the full amount.
Who on your team can use it
Referrals are the workspace owner’s by default. Two switches can hand them on: View referrals, for the rewards and the invitee list, and Share the referral link. Both start off, and an invite never turns them on by itself. Signups brought in by a member’s sharing credit the workspace, not the member. See Permissions.Billing
